FAQs

When do we need to RSVP?

Please RSVP by the End of April—this isn’t a “guess how many people are showing up” situation! We need to make sure there’s enough food to feed you and enough drinks to keep the photos interesting. Don’t leave us scrambling for extra appetizers, okay?

Where Am I Gonna Sleep?

Well, hopefully not on the street... unless that’s your thing! The Jupiter Next Hotel is where you’ll be catching some Z’s. We’ve got a room block set up just for you, but fair warning—they do have a two-night minimum stay. And no, we’re not responsible for any violent pillow fights that break out.

What Else Is There to Do in Portland?

Welcome to the strip club capital of America—yep, there’s one right next door to the hotel. But don’t worry, there’s more to Portland than glitter and butts.

For a more peaceful vibe, check out the Japanese Garden, or get lost in the quirky shops around 23rd and Burnside. Madison’s favorite is Paxton Gate, a place that’s a taxidermy lover's dream.

And of course, Portland’s food scene is on point. Grab bites at Pine Street Market, or roll yourself back to the hotel from brunch at Screen Door. And if you are really lucky, you can catch a reservation at one of Dylan’s favorite restaurants Comedor Lilia.

What’s the Dress Code?

We’re going for cocktail attire, so dress to impress! No color limits (except white—leave that to the bride, folks, Madison has been known to bite). Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous—whether it’s a chic dress, stylish separates, or a suit that screams "I’ve got this."

Just a heads-up: The venue has both indoor and outdoor areas, so maybe bring a jacket for the ac or shoes that can handle both the dance floor and cement. We’re not saying you’ll end up doing the Macarena outside, but... you never know…

Are children welcome?

Adult Humans Only

To help everyone fully enjoy the celebration (and keep things running smoothly), we kindly request no children or fur babies at the wedding. This is for both insurance reasons and because Grandma, the couples dog, will be making a very important appearance! We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Will there be vegetarian food options?

Yes, we’ve got you covered! Whether you're vegetarian, or just a picky eater, we've worked with our caterer to make sure there are tasty options for everyone. Because let’s be honest—no one wants hangry guests! So, rest assured, you won’t go hungry—we’ve got something delicious for all diets, preferences, and food quirks in our set menu.

Whats up with the photos on this website?

Well, Dylan's a big fan of landscape and animal photography, so most of the shots are his—capturing nature in all its glory. As for the couple photos? That would be our amazing photographer Georgy Shiskin!

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

Absolutely! The couple is more than happy to answer any questions you have—serious, silly, or somewhere in between. The weirder, the better! Don’t hesitate to reach out—we love a good mystery/secret.
